Mission Statement
The mission of University of Southwest America is to educate students to be leaders to impact the world, advance the work of God and improve society through embodying excellence in programs of Christian education and development in Christian faith, thought and practice.
This mission is accomplished through a comprehensive program of biblical, theological, and general education, Christ-centered service and support, and applied scholarship in practical environments.
University of Southwest America offers the program areas of Religious Studies about church, evangelism, missionary work and advances the work of God
Developing moral, spiritual, intellectual, and aesthetic values through the arts, Counseling, Administration and Technology, we integrate faith, learning, and life.
Vision Statement
We envision graduates who think critically and creatively, lead with high ethical and professional standards, embody the character and compassion of God, and who thereby are prepared to impact the world and Christian servant leaders.
Ultimately, USWA desires to prepare and inspire students to impact the world for God through Christian education and field education in the area needed for church and Missions.

University of Southwest America is a non-denominational evangelical college with the highest Christian values. We value excellence in academics of Christian education and practical ministry within an individual and corporate relationship with God. And we value the development of Christian faith, thought and practice in the world to advance the work of God and impact the society at large.
The Mission of University of Southwest America, a Christian university affiliated with the Assemblies of God, is derived from the following core values:

Moving together in personal relationship with Christ Jesus and knowledge of God’s calling, we dedicate ourselves to Spirit-filled service.
Practicing discipleship and worship with biblical faithfulness, we develop courage and character to meet the challenges of our world.
Crafting a diverse, lifelong community, we recognize the intrinsic worth and dignity of each individual and facilitate friendships and networks that reach out to welcome others in love.

Exploring all truth with scholarly excellence, we build a biblical worldview to prepare each other for service and leadership throughout the world.

USWA is not accredited by any organization. University of Southwest America(USWA), as an institution owned, controlled, operated and maintained by a religious organization lawfully operating as a nonprofit Christian University, has met the qulifications for exemption from regulation under the Act, pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section 94874 (e).

USWA was founded in 2013 and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Our programs has received verification of exemption status by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (B.P.P.E.) under the Department of Consumer Affairs. The BPPE ensures that private institutions of postsecondary education are conducted lawfully.

University of Southwest America’s corporation number is C3626209 and was assigned Employer Identification Number and 501(C)(3) Tax-Exemption from IRS.
